hallstrom construction, inc. was awarded this competitively bid project for the prestigious owner in may of 2003.  some 14 months later, the workforce development & technology building was open for business.  this facility now houses the dubois office of pennsylvania career link as well as classrooms for penn state university.

105,000+ feet or 20 miles of cat 5 cabling was used on this project and would wrap 80 times around the psu mens/womens 400 meter track.

72,000 concrete blocks...some 18 miles when laid end to end would amount to 68.5 times around the psu mens/womens 400 meter track.

138,000 bricks, approximately 17 miles when laid end to end, would circle the psu mens/womens 400 meter track 70 times.
