hallstrom construction, inc. competitively bid and was awarded this lakeside fishing dock during the spring of 2006.  this $80,000 handicap accessible fishing deck replaced the original handicap accessible fishing deck which was destroyed by the remnants of hurricane katrina.  the project included 10 foot long steel piles that were driven into the lake bed to support this structure.

the deck and railing are made of a wood composite material that has a much longer life and is more resistent to the harsh weather that western pennsylvania experiences.
